Welcoming owners and a taste of history
I had a lovely stay in a cozy room featuring a unique rough stone wall that really captured the charm of the old town. The owners went above and beyond, greeting me with a refreshing drink and providing a local map filled with helpful tips. Plus, the delicious breakfast was a great way to start the day! My only suggestion is to have more comfortable bedding arrangements, as the sheets underneath were a bit of a hassle to deal with.

El Cerco gave me a delightful peek into history with its charming old building integrated into the ancient walls of the village. The room was inviting, showcasing a unique rough stone wall. It felt fresh and clean, a perfect retreat after a long day on the Camino. The A/C kept the room comfortable, even though I didn't use it much. The bathroom was compact yet featured a fantastic shower with striking green tiles. I appreciated the welcoming nature of the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure I had all the information I needed about the area. Breakfast was a standout, with delicious options that fueled my day. However, I found the absence of tea and coffee facilities in the room a bit disappointing, especially after long walks. Also, the room lighting was bright, but the corridors felt dark and uninviting due to sensor-activated lights. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was enjoyable and unique.

Lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room left something to be desired. Hallway lights operated on sensors, keeping the corridors dark and uninviting, which made the place feel more like a series of rooms rather than a hotel. Wifi connection dropped out frequently, causing some frustration during the stay.

Anna and Alfonso made my stay unforgettable with their warm hospitality and help with local dining options. I loved unwinding on the sun terrace and enjoying quiet moments in the cozy leisure room. The only drawback was the lack of tea and coffee facilities in my room, but it didn’t dampen my experience at all! ☕
